Who We Are
Producer, screenwriter, playwright, designer and Vessel Films, LLC founder David E. Feldman has been writing stories and books for thirty years, most recently Pilgrimage from Darkness, Nuremberg to Jerusalem (Univ. Press of Mississippi, April '04), the biography of Doctor Asher Eder. His documentary, What Does It All Mean? (see below or view trailer) contains several personal histories on film. He is proud to bring the same creativity, dedication to craft and pride in his work to PersonalHistoriesNY.com and PersonalHistorianNY.com. Mr. Feldman's screenplays include the spiritual/psychodrama Let Me Out (to be released in spring, 2009), the historical drama Born of War, and the comedies Pearl and Making Headlines, which are both in the final stages of development. He recently finished his first play, New Friends. Mr. Feldman co-produced the documentary Zhang Yan: The Story of A Beijinger with documentary filmmaker/producer Defu Chen, whose last film, Inside Beijing, was seen on PBS, and by 900 million people in China on Beijing TV and CCTV. The film is slated to air in Jan. 2009, nationwide, in China. Together with film and video partner Gary M. Planken and Under the Sun Films, Mr. Feldman produced and directed the documentary What Does It All Mean, A Spiritual Documentary and the feature Let Me Out. Mr. Feldman is the owner of the ad agency and graphic design studio E. Face Graphics, LLC, which he founded in 1989. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Woodward Children’s Centre, a K-12 facility that provides educational services to emotionally disturbed children. He is currently enrolled in the Masters of Library Science and Information program at CUNY Queens College. He graduated with a major in Political Science and a minor in History from Drew University, Madison, N.J., 1979. |
